My new favorite soup

…And my new favorite season

Is it winter yet? The weather here doesn’t seem to decide: it feels like fall and it feels like winter in the same time. Ι think I like it! I can do all the wintery stuff, like light up the fireplace, make soup, even start thinking about Christmas; I can also take long walks without feeling too cold and enjoy afternoons like the one we have today… so calm, so peaceful.

I look outside my window: the sea has a deep purple color that seems almost electrical and that makes the perfect contrast with the orange light of my living room. I am thinking books, old movies and this delicious soup that I ‘ve tried and decided that it’s my new favorite*. Cocooning time!

* I used 3 cups of mushrooms, 2 cups of pumpkin, 2 leeks, 1 tomato and 1 pepper…but you can adjust the quantities of the ingredients according to your taste.
