Winter Aegean breeze
When I was a child, there was this popular TV commercial for washing powder; at a sunny Aegean yard, a woman was line – drying clothes. When my mother would line dry the clothes, I loved to hide behind the fabrics and watch the light creating strange shapes of shadows on the ground, pretending to be the woman of the commercial.
It all came back to me, as I was looking at this photograph. The winter breeze makes the curtain move as it brings up to the balcony the smell of the sea.
