Stairway to heaven

This zigzag stairway unites the old port of Santorini with Fira. During the time that this was the only port of the island, everything that arrived by boat had to be transported by donkeys and mules… It kind of makes you picky about what will you put in your suitcase right ; ) On the way up, the view becomes more and more breathtaking: in every turn of this unique route, you can take a minute to rest and realize the joy and excitement that you feel.
